On February 13, 2024 at 12 noon, the wooden benches along the water’s edge of the beautiful Benicia Marina will become available for a 25-year sponsorship. The price is $2500 per bench. The sponsor will be providing a brand new DuMor bench with a celebration plaque to honor some special occasion.

The Benicia Celebration Bench Project begins at the Benicia Marina Office and follows the Carquinez Bay Walking/Bicycling Path along the water’s edge of the Beautiful Benicia Marina ending at E Dock.

Do you have a Happy Milestone in your life or a special someone in your life having a milestone event that needs celebrating in a one-of-a-kind fashion?

This might be just what you have been searching for!

On February 13, 2024 at 12 noon, the wooden benches along the water’s edge of the beautiful Benicia Marina will become available for a 25-year sponsorship. The price is $2500 per bench. The sponsor will be providing a brand new DuMor bench with a celebration plaque to honor some special occasion. The availability is limited to the 26 existing benches along the trail that need a new lease on life. These benches have provided a place of rest for so many people over the last 40 years. Maybe you have sat on one yourself to look and reflect on one of the most beautiful walking trails in Solano County.

If you would like to sponsor a bench for the next 25 years, renewable to original sponsors, then email me at [email protected]. Click on the link below in the dark blue box. The email must include all your personal contact information (name, address, phone and email), name of honoree, relationship of honoree, one line statement explaining the Happy Occasion, date to be on plaque and you or honoree’s connection to Benicia. Applications will be taken in order of submission determined by the date and time on the email.

Upon approval, the sponsor will be contacted, in order of submission, to choose their bench based upon availability. Only emails received after February 13, 2024 at 12 noon will be eligible for sponsorship.

Oh yes, the Original Benches are also available for purchase at the price of $100 per bench (FOB) (As is). Application process is the same as the new benches. Thank you for visiting our website.
